GANESH MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION2022
Ganpati Bappa Moriyaaa!!!
Ganesha Chaturthi is celebrated as the birthday of Lord Ganesha the symbol of wisdom and remover of obstacles. This festival is also known as Ganesh Utsav which means festival of Ganesha. On 25th August 2019, G.D.T.S.V.M’s Primary section celebrated Ganeshotsav with lots of Fun and Masti.
On this auspicious day, the children were excited during the celebration of Ganesh Chathurthi. A lot of verve and vitality surrounded the classrooms with the festivity. All the children of primary section came to school in colorful dresses and Senior K.G. students presented themselves in the costumes of ‘Ganesha and Kartikeya’.
All students were offered ‘prasad’ after the puja. The day came to end with JAI KARA 'Ganpati Bapa Moriya Mangal Murti Murya'.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION15 August, 2022
76th Independence Day of India is an honorable and patriotic moment for all the citizens of India. With the spirit of patriotism and love for the nation, remembering the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and with the feeling of nationalism in the atmosphere, Ghanshyam Das Tandon Saraswati Vidya Mandir celebrated the Independence Day.
"National Anthem" was sung by school children at 10 am along with the Director, Principal and all the Staff members. -
Raksha Bandhan Celebration12 August, 2022
Raksha Bandhan is the festival that reflects the bond of affection, love and care of the relation between brothers and sisters. That was celebrated by Nursery to U.K.G. classes in the school premises with a great spirit.
On this auspicious occasion the sisters of Nursery to U.K.G. classes tied the Rakhis on the hands of their brothers.

Teachers Day Celebration05-09-2022
Teachers’ Day was celebrated on Friday, 5th September at G.D. Tandon Saraswati Vidya Mandir with great fervour. The students, who had been preparing for the grand day for more than a week, organised a great show dedicated to their teachers. The day buzzed with excitement and smiles all around.
On this occasion a floral tribute was given to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a philosopher, scholar, teacher and first President of the country, in whose memory Teachers’ Day is celebrated. Dances performed were simply amazing and made everyone watching want to dance along too. -
Dussehra Celebration05 October 2022
Ghanshyam Das Tandon Saraswati Vidya Mandir celebrated Dussehra in school premises with great enthusiasm and energy. In the morning assembly, students spoke about the significance of the festival and how it is celebrated across the country. The students also made beautiful charts. Dandiya, a traditional dance was presented by the pre- primary students in a graceful manner. Colourful attire worn by the students was appreciated by all.
Dussehra also known as Vijayadashami is celebrated on the 10th day of Navratri. It marks the historic victory of Lord Ram over the evil King Ravana. Effigies of the latter are burnt as a symbol of the victory of good over evil across the country. -
Annual Sports Meet27th November 2022
Annual Sports Meet was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Ghanshyam Das Tandon Saraswati Vidya Mandir, Kailsa, on 27 November 2022.
The Schools playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest Honble Smt. Gulav Devi, State Education Minister Uttar Pradesh.
The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports events ranging from the March Past, Yoga, Track Events, Tug of War, and Kabaddi. They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their children performing.
Parents and all the Teachers of the school were present to raise the morale of the students. The Chief Guest and the Honble Patron of the school Shri Ajay Tandon awarded the medals and the certificates to the winners of the various sports events. The chief guest addressed the gathering. He emphasized the importance of sports in a child life. He was delighted to see girls participating in almost all the Sports Event. He also applauded the School Principal, Dr. Archana Sharma for the school's outstanding achievements. The Sports Meet ended with the National Anthem. -
INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION15-08-2023
The 77th Independence Day of Ghanshyam Das Tandon Saraswati Vidya Mandir Kailsa was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 15th August 2023. The school premises were adorned with the tricolor of the Indian flag, and the entire school community came together to mark this significant occasion. The celebration began with the flag hoisting ceremony in the presence of the school President, principal, teachers, staff, and students. The Indian national flag was hoisted by the school principal, followed by the singing of the national anthem by all present. The sight of the tricolor fluttering in the wind filled the atmosphere with a sense of pride and unity. After the flag hoisting, a series of cultural performances were organized by the students. Various dance forms, songs, and skits depicted the struggles and sacrifices made by the freedom fighters in their quest for independence. The performances showcased the rich cultural diversity of India and highlighted the spirit of unity that binds the nation together. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students and staff, symbolizing the joy and camaraderie associated with Independence Day.
