Examination & Promotion
It is compulsory for the students to complete 75% of their attendance in a year to make them eligible for promotion to the next class. Promotion to the next class Is granted on the basis of four tests, Half yearly and final examination marks.
For assessment & regular improvement of the students, four monthly tests are conducted.Each test is of 25 marks, it provides 100 marks in each subject. It is compulsory to appear in all tests and exams.
The child who secures 40% marks in all the subjects is given promotion.
» No examination will be given either before or after the schedule time.
» No candidate will be allowed to take the examinations unless school dues are paid in full.
» A pupil failing twicw in the same class will have to discontinue his/her studies in the school.
» Results declared are final and will not be reconsidered in any case. If the report card is lost, student will be charged Rs.50/- for the duplicate report card.
» In anacademic year,medical leave will be accepted only once, either for the monthly tests or for half yearly. The maximum marks of examination missed shall be deducted from the maximum grand total at the annual assessment.
Rules for taking leave
» Application for leave with the name class and section of the student be sent before hand stating the reason and the period, if the student remains absent without leave for more than seven days, his/her name will automatically be struck of the rolls.
» No child will be sent home during the school hours without the written application of the parents and CRC(Child Receiving Card).
» Medical leaves shall not be granted for any family function and if your ward is sick kindly see that the application of leaves reaches the offices 24 hours in advance or on the same day.
Admission & Withdrawal Procedure
1. Parents seeking admission of their wards should obtain and application form for registration and prospectus in person or by post from the school.
2. Every new pupil must bring:
» Transfer Certificate,
» The original municipal birth certificate or notified area certificate,if the child has not attended the school before.
3. An admission test is conducted on assigned date for all the classes.
4. Student joining/leaving the school in the middle of school session will be charged the whole year's fee.
5. Students can be removed by the school authoritirs on any of the following grounds:
» Constant weakness in studies.
» Irregularity in attendance.
» Misbehaviour/Indiscipline.
» Non payment or irregularity of fee.
6. Transfer certificate will be given only to those who have settled all their dues and applied for T.C.
Indeminity Bond
Every parent should execute an agreement prescribed by the school which he will receive along with the admission form.Admission will not be granted unless the agreement is executed, Appended as Annexure "A".
General Regulation & Recommendation to Parents
» All students are expected to be in the school in time, regular late comers will not be permitted to attend the school or will be fined Rs. 5/- daily.
» All the children are expected to come to school daily in freshly laundered uniform with clean socks and polished shoes.
» Students are reminded to address their teachers and all the members of the staff with due respect and politeness.
» The school is not responsible for goods lost. We discourage the children from bringing any expensive article(Ornaments, Mobile etc.) to school.
» It is forbidden to write orscribble or splash ink on the school walls or in any way disfigure or damage school property. Severe action will be taken against pupils not adhering to this rule.Also the cost of repair or replacement will be charged from parents.
» Parents and guardians are requested to co-operate with thw school authorities in all the matters concerning the education of their children.Parents are to look into the school diary every evening and see that the home work assigned for the next day is done.
» Parents are requested to attend the parents-teachers meeting held in school.
» Parents are requested not to enter the classroom without permission. All dealings with the teachers must be conducted through the principal.
» Criticism of child's teacher or the school in the presence of child should be studiously avoided as it is likely to harm the child. Legitimate complaints should be reported to principal.
» As the medium of instruction in the school is English. A certain amount of regular English conversation should be done to help the child at home.
